Final Election Reminders!

Dear Voting Members of Cabaret,

This is a final reminder that elections for the 2015-2016 Executive Board will be held in Room 427 of Cabaret Theatre this Thursday, April 9 at 10pm.

Only those with voting rights will be eligible to vote, while every member of Cabaret is welcome to attend.

As a reminder, here are the people running for each position:

Producer: Kayla Votapek, none/neither
Artistic Director: Eddie Norgard, Kat Beliavski, none/neither
Managing Director: Stephanie van Oppen, none/neither
Director of Finance: Kelly Lozo, none/neither
Marketing Director: Connie Scoullis, none/neither
General Board Representative: Alex Albanese, none/neither

The speeches of each candidate can be found on Sakai. If you have voting rights and are unable to come to elections, or will be late to elections, you MUST request an absentee ballot in order for your votes to count. This ballot must be filled out by 8pm on Thursday, April 9, AFTER reading the speeches. Request an absentee ballot by emailing me at producer.cabarettheatre@gmail.com.

#AvenueQForever!

Thank you to everyone who has come to support student theatre and Cabaret by seeing Avenue Q this past weekend! We have had sold out shows each performance and our audiences have been nothing but amazing!

Because Avenue Q is in high demand for seats, the Executive Board has made the "executive" decision (lol) to add another performance for Avenue Q!

THE ADDED DATE AND TIME IS: Saturday April 4th at 3:00pm!!

Executive Board Nominations and Elections

Attention all Cabaret-ers,

The time has come for Executive Board nominations!

One is eligible to run for the 2015-2016 Executive Board if and only if they will be a fully-registered Rutgers University undergraduate student for the 2015-2016 academic year.

In order for someone to officially run for a position, that someone must be nominated twice, and then accept their nomination. 

You are allowed to nominate yourself, so please do so if you are interested!

Email your nomination(s) to both producer.cabarettheatre@gmail.com and artistic.cabarettheatre@gmail.com. 

The deadline to nominate someone for an Executive Board position is Tuesday, March 31 at 11:59pm.

Those officially running for Executive Board positions will be announced on Wednesday, April 1 at 11:59pm.

If you are interested in an Executive Board position, but are not sure about whether you would like to run, you may reach out to the current Executive Board Member for insight into the position.

Additionally, if you are interested in being on the General Board next year, feel free to reach out to Executive Board Members to learn ways to potentially get involved next year!

OPF 2015 CAST LISTS!

Cabaret Theatre is so proud to announce the casts for our 2015 Original Play Festival. All of the directors are very thankful to everyone who came out and auditioned!! We saw so much talent and it was very, very difficult to cast our shows when everyone was such an awesome fit!
