Director’s Showcase is comprised of 3 plays, directed by:
Maria Castro, Miranda Madrazo, & Prava Punnamraju

Option 1 : Self Tape
Pick up to 2 audition sides to record. Please record yourself reading with another person (does not have to be another person auditioning- family members/housemates will do!)
Recorded Auditions must be sent in by Friday, October 30th at 11:59 PM

Option 2 : Live Audition
Pick up to 2 audition sides. Select a time and schedule a live audition. The live audition will take place with someone on prostaff who is not casting (the Artistic Director or the Coordinator). The live audition will be recorded and sent to the Directors. NOTE: although we recommend self tape, we want to provide this option for accessibility, and it will not affect your chances of being casted!
Live auditions will be held 7:00PM - 10:00PM Wednesday the 28th and Thursday the 29th. If you require a live audition but cannot make these times, reach out to jvr48@scarletmail.rutgers.edu AND artistic.cabarettheatre@gmail.com
About Directors’ Showcase:
Directors’ Showcase at Cabaret is a collection of ten to fifteen-minute plays, usually directed by new directors. This Showcase gives first-time directors the opportunity to work on a short play from start to finish and get a feel for the directing process, as well as providing directors with some experience and a chance to work on and hone their craft. It is a great way to get involved at Cabaret and has proven a strong first step for many leaders at our company!
